My entry to
 's contest, Phantom in Superhero style!19th century Paris is protected by Le Viscomte, a masked hero who like batman, has no powers but his own strength and skill. (If you couldn't tell, his secret identity is Raoul De Chagny.) Not pictured here is the Lois Lane of this comic, Christine Daae. What ho? A villain has absconded with the lovely Christine! It is Phantom, whose mechanically enhanced voice can hypnotize men before he catches them with his 'magical lasso'. Who will win the battle for Christine's heart? This is my first colored work in my new sketchbook! I don't like the quality of the paper, but I can't resist a blank page. Also the first time I've drawn Raoul seriously. Seeing as there has been no real criticism, I'm going to go ahead and submit this to the contest. The Phantom of the Opera isn't mine, but this particular concept is. |
